My father had received this letter from Elgordo Loteria Primitiva from Madrid, Spain stating that he had won the lottery for 415.800 Euros in the 3rd category. The letter asked him to contact Juan Cruz the foreign service manager of Universal Security, Finance & Clearing House, S.A. at 0034-6-754-40478.
He thought it might be true as we had just spent the summer in Europe and he did give his information for a draw that he had entered while in Germany.
Needless to say it did sound too good to be true. But he kept up with it and finally last night they called and asked him to send about 800 Euros to cover the taxes. I was very skeptical and therefore went on the internet to see what I could find about this lottery. Up pops Rip Off Report! This confirmed all the doubts we ever had about the lottery.
Please be aware of this scam. If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is!!
